EXT Connector Cap
The front panel EXT connector of your PLC is designed for connecting optional DIN rail modules, or custom development boards (see breadboard adapter accessory). When the connector is not in use, it can be covered with a protective cap.

UPS Battery Temperature Sensor
Temperature sensor for the built-in UPS Battery charger. It monitors the temperature of the battery and allows Temperature Controlled Charging.

The charger uses the sensor data and user-defined charging parameters as a starting point from which the charging algorithms calculate the actual values to be applied to the DACs to support functions such as temperature compensated charge voltages and currents, maximum power point tracking, charger soft starting, etc.
The measured battery temperature is also available to the user and can be obtained using the PSU_GET_TBAT() function (see SOFTWARE chapter for more information about the battery charger control and monitoring).

SD Memory Card
The SanDisk Industrial microSD Card is designed to meet the security, endurance, capacity, performance and environmental requirements inherent in industrial electronic devices. The card is based on an 8-pin interface designed to operate in a maximum operating frequency of 104 MHz.
